Malformation

Microphthalmia can be either extreme, severe or moderate.
Anophthalmia is a malformation in which the globe and the ocular tissue are entirely missing. In such cases, an implant should be installed as soon as possible.
In all of these cases, we make a mold of the socket that will enable us to fabricate transparent shells in increasing sizes, in order to gradually enlarge the microcavity.
After a period of several months, the child will be equipped with an aesthetically pleasing prosthesis that will result in greatly improved facial symmetry and balance.
